Seventeen years ago our country, way of life, and freedoms came under attack. The events of that harrowing morning changed our nation, our communities, and our families forever.

On September 11, the nation will pause to remember the thousands of victims who lost their lives that fateful day. And it’ll remember the heroes who knowingly ran toward danger to save others.

Join USAGov on Tuesday at 8:46 AM ET for a moment of silence, marking the exact moment Flight 11 crashed into the World Trade Center in New York City. Also, set time aside to remember and honor the victims in New York, Washington, and Pennsylvania as well as those who sacrificed so much in the rescue and recovery efforts.

Unite in service the same way we did as a nation after the attacks. Find volunteer opportunities in your community and pay tribute to the victims and heroes of 9/11.
