"Spring" Your Clocks Forward This Sunday!

Daylight Saving Time starts this Sunday, March 11. We may be losing an hour of sleep this weekend, but by moving the clocks forward, we get to enjoy more daylight during the spring and summer!

Keep these tips in mind when preparing for 2018's Daylight Saving Time:

  • Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, most of Arizona and American Samoa don’t change their clocks.
  • If you live elsewhere in the U.S., don’t forget to “spring forward” your clocks and watches at 2 AM your local time on Sunday.
  • Your smoke alarm batteries need to be changed twice a year. Make it easy to remember and change the batteries in your smoke alarm when you change your clocks!
